Instructor Vaughn J. Perret has cultivated, collected, and cooked with gourmet mushrooms for decades. His is the past
Vice President of the Gulf States Mycological Society, and received a U.S. Department of Agriculture research grant on edible
mushroom culivation. He has foraged for wild mushrooms in Europe, North Africe, Central America, Canada, and the United States,
and is chef/proprietor at Trout Point Lodge.
